If you want to change the language of the sims you need to go to Start -> Run -> (type) regedit -> Press OK -> Press my computer/HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Maxis/The Sims. Then find "Sims_LANGUAG" , press MODIFY and type in the VALU DATA USenglish ...insted of the language that is in there ( eg Polish,Spanish etc)
